Tell us a little bit about your label (art) and what you do?

I am primarily a potter and sometimes work with 2 dimensional mediums. I like making pretty things, but it needs to express a certain depth of emotionality in the most effective way with colours and form. As much as I am an academic and critic of social issues, I make visually pleasing works to inspire the innate positive aspects in people.

What inspires your work?

I am inspired mostly by the metaphysical and spiritual realms. Some of my works are from visions I see in meditations and yoga. I am very excited about the potential of plant medicine and the works by Solara Aerie and Android Jones.  I love culture, history and fashion, particularly Japanese and Scandinavian art and design.

What jobs have you done other than being an artist?

I have worked as a high school Visual Arts teacher.

What memorable responses have you had to your work?

Well… positive exclamations of wanting to have them even though I am convinced the whole lot should be smashed and trashed.
